Having initially navigated a different professional path, Kirsten found her true calling in nursing, drawn by the desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of women during crucial moments in their reproductive journey. Her path has been characterized by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and expertise, evident in her attainment of certifications as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE). These certifications underscore her dedication to ensuring comprehensive and supportive care for expectant and new mothers.
She has honed her skills and expertise through specialization in maternal newborn nursing, a field that demands both clinical proficiency and a compassionate touch. Carole's journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and her passion for promoting the well-being of women led her to specialize in women's health early in her career. Over the years, she continued her pursuit of excellence, earning advanced degrees that have shaped her into a multifaceted healthcare professional.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), Carole has been at the forefront of primary care, offering personalized and holistic healthcare to women and their families. Her commitment to mental health is reflected in her dual certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), allowing her to address the complex interplay between physical and mental well-being with sensitivity and expertise.
Recognizing the significance of the perinatal period, Carole pursued certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
